In Samsung SDS Smart Logistics we provide innovative services by developing and applying optimized logistics solutions. We provide integrated logistics and information services based on our own Cello platform (www.cellologistics.com) and we provide SCM/Logistics consultancy to our customers. We offer entire logistics process management, including execution, consulting and optimizing. In Europe our main customer is Samsung Electronics with whom we collaborate together with more than 20 Samsung European subsidiaries in order to optimize their European Supply Chain strategy for all electronics products.

Your responsibilities

  • Manage logistics projects and develop innovative solutions for Samsung in order for logistics to be able to deliver distinctive service at competitive cost level
  • Optimize logistics operations of Samsung
  • Leads and organize team meetings to share information and keep team aligned
  • Stakeholder management with internal Samsung stakeholders
  • Aligning operation status with Regional HQ (Netherlands) and HQ (Korea)

Your Key activities

 Solution Engineering

  • Shipment trend analysis
  • Analysis business requirements
  • (Re-)design optimal transport solutions for customized shipment profile
  • Design TMS enhancements

 Project Management

  • Lead new transport solution implementation
  • Organize testing and training program
  • Support continuous improvement program
  • Coordination with stakeholders

Change Management

  • Cooperate with local teams to design new SOP and secure new ways of working
  • Prepare Quality Audit in case of new implementations
  • Make business cases and get approval from senior management and stakeholders

Your Skills

  • Outstanding conceptual and analytic skills
  • Cultural awareness : you can work in a corporate multi-cultural environment
  • Communication skills to get and maintain buy-in from stakeholders
  • Hands-on mentality, eager to take initiative for new opportunities and deliver targets

Your Profile

  • German life center since several years and a valid work and residence permit is mandatory
  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience in logistics operations and logistics engineering
  • Bachelor or Master degree in logistics or commercial study with experience in logistics
  • Excellent communication skills in English and Korean, German language is an advantage;
